Report illegal content

WorldFolder hosts Minecraft worlds and files for its customers. If you believe that something hosted on WorldFolder is illegal, for example a copyright infringement, hate speech or threats, child sexual abuse material, malware or phishing, harassment or other illegal content, you can tell us here. Deutsche Fassung unten.

How to send a notice

Email hello@worldfolder.com with the subject “Illegal content report”. Please include:

  1. What kind of content it is: copyright, hate or threats, child sexual abuse material, malware or phishing, harassment, or other illegal content.
  2. Where exactly it is: the world address (for example name.on.worldfolder.com) or world name, and where possible the file, in-game location or coordinates, and the date and time you saw it.
  3. Why you think it is illegal: a sufficiently substantiated explanation. For a copyright notice, also identify the protected work and say whether you are the rights holder or act for them.
  4. Your name and email address. You may leave these out if the notice concerns child sexual abuse material.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.

Do not send us illegal material itself, in particular never send images or files showing child sexual abuse; describe where it is instead. If someone is in immediate danger, call the police (in Germany 110 or 112).

What happens next

  • If you gave an email address, we confirm receipt without undue delay.
  • A person reviews every notice carefully, objectively and in a timely manner. We do not use automated means to decide on notices.
  • We notify you without undue delay of our decision, explain it and tell you the available ways to challenge it.
  • If we restrict content or an account, we tell the affected customer the reasons and how they can object, as described in section 7 of the Terms.
  • If information gives rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person, we inform the competent law-enforcement authorities.

Whether you sent a notice or are affected by a restriction, you can ask us to review the decision by replying to our email or writing to hello@worldfolder.com. Identify the decision and explain why you disagree, with any supporting information. A person reviews your objection and tells you the outcome. Your right to go to court or use other remedies available under applicable law remains unaffected.

Copyright owners who prefer a notice in the format of the US DMCA can also use the copyright notice page; it is handled the same way.

Rechtswidrige Inhalte melden

Bitte geben Sie an:
